As post-production continues for the film adaptation of the best-selling young-adult mystery novel If You're Gone, producers are excited to announce recent licensing partnerships with two Nashville-based indie artists - contemporary Christian duo, Out of the Dust, indie singer/songwriter Jessie Villa, and Dove award-winning producer, Dave Tough. All three offer such powerful music that helps breath life into the film and we are excited to have them on board for If You're Gone.
ENDP producers, John & Brittany Goodwin, first met Chris and Stephanie at an intimate concert venue in Bell Buckle, Tennessee, where they instantly fell in love with their music and story of a renewed marriage through faith. Their song "Slow Down" will be featured in the film during a pivotal moment where Lillian embraces a turning point that will leave audiences speechless.
Out of the Dust was recently featured on the 700 Club in a personal interview where the couple discusses their divorce after four years of marriage and how putting a focus on faith and each other has brought them into a stronger devotional place.
An East Coast-native and Nashville-based singer/songwriter, Villa combines a powerful vocal range and raw, honest lyrics that encompasses the essences of artists spanning decades while creating a sound all her own. Her song "Timeless" provides a dramatic, uplifting aesthetic to the promotional trailer that will be released in the coming weeks.
Dave Tough is a Dove Foundation award-winning producer based in Nashville, TN. In addition to his producing efforts, he is an engineer, songwriter and music industry educator at Belmont University. He has written and produced over 150 songs for major motion pictures and television including Pretty Little Liars, Empire, Glee, Nashville, and CSI.
Both Jessie Villa and Dave Tough's music were discovered on Soundstripe - a Nashville-based music licensing platform dedicated to providing filmmakers with excellent music to take their film and video projects to the next level, and give artists and composers an avenue for showcasing their work.
If You're Gone is still in post-production but planning for a nationwide release in 2018.
